The Gallee Mann project

It is a personal response to the music of William Le Gallee Mann after twenty years of accumulating musical compositions. The monotypes explore the relationship between music, its movement and its influence on the pictorial plane. The multiple layers and traces in memory on the support combined with the personal archives of the musician connect the airy weight of the music and the immobile character of the art object.

The changing nature of its content is imbued with musicality.
